You should all be very proud of yourselves,
YOU MADE THIS HAPPEN! YES YOU...
We had a fundraiser on the weekend in Vancouver and a young man in university said to me “but I’m only one person, what difference can I make?” I told him each person makes a huge difference and one never knows the true impact they have in others and all of you have done that dollar by dollar! This young man will be coming to Dame Marie, Haiti next May to make even more of a difference. He will work with the children, build furniture and teach the teachers some sports to play with the children. That’s how it’s done, one by one!
If you ever want to come and visit us in Dame Marie and gt to know the children, please let me know and I'll help you arange it; I guarantee your life will be changed forever!
The thing is, it’s often not in our extraordinary actions, but in the little things we do for others with extraordinary love that makes the difference...
Here is a link to a story that was read to me in a teacher workshop, it's a very moving story. I hope you find the time to read it.
You have made a difference and I thank you!
